Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience
Our paper 'Relevance of prosodic focus and lexical stress for discourse comprehension in Turkish: Evidence from psychometric and electrophysiological data' has been accepted for publication in Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience. Here is an early access version.


TÜling lecture, 2024
University of Tartu, Estonia
I was recently invited to give a TÜling lecture and hold consultation sessions with students and researchers at the University of Tartu. It was a wonderful experience engaging with participants and sharing insights. The entire event was supported by the MEDAL consortium.

New book chapter, 2024
The chapter “Psycholinguistics and Turkish: Prosodic Representations and Processing” that Prof. Barış Kabak and I wrote together will soon appear in the Encyclopedia of Turkic Languages and Linguistics, Brill (edited by Lars Johanson). Speech Prosody
Conference, 2024
The Speech Prosody conference has concluded with great success (02–05 July 2024, Leiden). Thank you to all the organizers, speakers, attendees, and volunteers for making it a memorable event. For those who missed it, the conference proceedings are now available on the ISCA archive.
MEDAL
Summer school, 2024
The MEDAL Summer School on Experimental Linguistics has concluded with great success (17-21 June, Nijmegen). I was delighted to see a large turnout at my EEG workshop on (E)electrified (E)mpirical (G)uide for Language Comprehension at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics and am thankful to everyone who attended and contributed to its success.
